Français : Il ou elle accompagne l’auteur ou l’autrice dans sa vie. L’exposition de l’époux dans l’autobiographie diffère selon que celle-ci emploie l’écriture ou la photographie. La photo requiert en effet le consentement actif de l’autre au projet autobiographique de l’écrivain-photographe. On analyse ici trois exemples contemporains avec les œuvres de Denis Roche et Françoise, Alix Cléo Roubaud et Jacques, Hervé Guibert et Thierry, afin de déterminer, chacun dans leur singularité, la manière dont l’épouse, le mari, l’ami contribue à l’œuvre de l’artiste.

English: He or she shares the author’s life. The exhibition of the spouse in the autobiography depends on whether this latter is made of words or of photographs. For photography requires the active consent of the other to the autobiographical project of the writer-photographer. We analyze here three contemporary examples through the works by Denis Roche and Françoise, Alix Cléo Roubaud and Jacques, Hervé Guibert and Thierry. We may determine, each in their singularity, the way the wife, the husband, the partner contributes to the artist’s work.
